I like that you can wall mount this.
Has rudimentary functions.
It says it's a Laser and LED... It's ONLY LED... No laser.
Also, the remote supposedly allows you to control the speed of the disco ball effect, etc. So far, I have yet to see that actually do anything.
It has 3 basic patterns that can be altered ever so slightly.
For quick and dirty lighting fun, this is a cool gadget. If you want/need something more robust and configurable - spend the extra money and buy a real Laser Light system.
It is great, especially for the upcoming birthdays that are happening and it gives you different kinds of ideas to do and keeps the kids on their toes as adults. It just depends on what you want to use them for. The hookup was easy and the setup and the different variations of what you get with the sound as well as the laser and strobe lights. It's amazing.
