This laser projection unit was ordered as a part of my band's lightshow and we really like the performance and portability. The animations are fun and run through a several minute pre-scripted routine. The remote control unit is especially useful for not only starting and stopping the routines, color variations can be set to match the mood of the rest of a light show or theme. The mounting bracket is very secure for attachments to a lighting rig or ceiling mounts. With a fog machine, the beams of light can be seen and becomes a 3D light show in itself. We are highly impressed and our audiences are entertained!

It's a cool laser projector thing. Very bright and has plenty of pre-programmed sequences.
It offers a DMX connector that lets you modify advanced parameters of the animation (like scale, rotation, color, etc), but there is no way to upload new vector graphics into it as far as I could tell.
Overall a good addition, but would be way better if allowed for custom vector graphics to be uploaded.

I got this to use for various occasions in combination with some loud music and a fog machine to entertain my kids. This has been an excellent addition that they have loved watching!

I have a basement theater with some arcade machines that is kept dim for obvious reasons. I like to add different lighting effects to it to take advantage of the low lighting and add some "fun" to the environment. This light display was a great addition and has some pretty good effects, the animations are especially enjoyed by the kids. I'm using it with a homebrewed Arduino DMX controller and the results are fantastic for this price point.

At the $169 price point i dont think your going to find a better multicolor motion lazer. This is a very nice effect and I personally have it set with a mini dmx controller to have some control over what shown. For example just have it on welcome the first 15 min if the party. Setting images/effects that fit the songs, rather than have it on a sound active cycle that becomes repetitive.I'd highly recommend this Light if you're looking for a multicolor motion Lazer.

This is pretty good for the price. It is a nice compact unit and I would consider it entry level. The sound activation mode is a bit quirky (they usually are with these). The laser isn't very bright, but it gets the job done for small venues or at home/private events. The projection area is smaller than you would expect. Like most of these, you have the onboard controller to manually select the modes. I highly suggest controlling this with at least a basic software based solution so you can avoid some of the animations. I feel like some of the animations don't fit all occasions.

All around, for the price it is a good little unit.

It can be controlled by the auto and sound activated modes. It really has some amazing animated laser scenes. To really get the most out of it's capabilities connect it to a DMX controller to access and fine tune all the functions.

This laser party light is incredible, it puts on the most amazing light shows. I have not seen this quality of light performances since I was last out at a major party event. The broad range and sophistication of the lasers and the visuals and patterns this product creates looks like something that you would expect to get from a laser light that costs closer to a thousand dollars.

Watch the video I have attached to see a much broader selection of the different kinds of visuals it creates. The light is made of metal, it is a well made, high quality laser light that should delight and impress for years to come. The unit has a remote control that allows you to set the laser light to dance to the music, there are many settings to play with.

This laser light gives you so many options and choices. I could spend hours playing with it to learn everything this laser light has to offer. If you want some lighting for a party or event that will impress and amaze your guests then this is the light for you. It will not disappoint.

The built in animations are really cool, and the lasers are bright, but what excites me most about this is that it has a lot of potential for hacking. All of the systems are modular and easy to tap into or replace. The main board has what appears to be a serial connection on it as well (TX/RX/GND), though I haven't dug into it yet to see if it is functional and what it gives access to. On its own, it's a cool addition to party ambiance and works well. I'm hoping I'll be able to adapt it to use my own animations and interfaces with a bit of effort though.

I’m considering using a Pi or other small controller to create a vector-based display like an asteroids machine. The possibilities with this are really exciting. I highly recommend it!

This is a nice DMX light. The laser animation is brighter than most of the similar units I have. Pretty typical response speed on the animations. Very good fit and finish. Quiet when operating, minor noise is not audible from 15 feet away. Has reasonable documentation, better than most of the off-brand DMX lights I have purchased (this is a definite plus). Has an on/off switch (another plus). There is a knob on the back that allows for adjusting the sensitivity for the microphone. This is on the higher end of lights like this.

Light only had a few animations ( figures)

While it does some animations,it has very few figures, ( people images )and has more patterns more then anything.

Some of the people images and even some of the regular patterns are not fully filled in and are lacking sometimes on the edges,
The laser itself isn't as bright as some of the others I've tried.

The auto feature sometimes still doesn't get every feature to work, sometimes you have to manually go through the settings and numbers to finally see different animations that didn't run in the auto feature...

The picture shows the light coming from the bottom of the unit and there is no light that comes from the bottom of the unit, The picture could be a bit deceiving.

If you never owned one of these you would think this is an awesome light but When compared to other lights in its category it lacks quite a bit.

The laser is not strong and bright as some others I have tested,
And some of the animations are not fully filled in some of them are lacking in the edges,

Almost like when you draw a picture and you leave the edges out and don't fully Have the lines connect.
Some of the images are like that on this unit.

This 3D DJ laser light puts on an awesome show. It sends of shapes, motion animation of animals and others. It illuminates in many different colors. You can set it up to different things, like just shapes or just animations. Single color or multi-color. It can just randomly do its thing or you can set it to the sound of music. If you have a smoke machine, that enhances the visual effects as well. It will work with DMX, as well. I think this is a great deal and love the effects!!
