This is a pretty powerful light but I wasn’t too impressed with the designs. I did find a surprising use as I was checking out all the features and our toddler started pointing to shapes on the wall. We invited some other toddlers over a few days later and they were as impressed as our toddler was. For that reason, this item is a win. I wouldn’t have spent this amount of money on something to simply entertain toddlers but considering all the features that are available, it appears the manufacturer put a lot of thought into the production of this item.

I'll give it 4-stars because my wife and kids really liked it but I'm not necessarily a big fan. Yes, it has a lot of lights and does fun stuff, but I don't really like the snowflake projections. The description does list Christmas, but it just feels really awkward using it in the Summer, right? The LEDs on the front are okay, and the flashing is fun. Doing what it's supposed to do, then it's a great product. I just don't like the winter-themed projections since it's not sold as solely a Christmas themed light.

This Disco Dance Party Light is cool! What I love about this system is that it has dual revolving lenses that rotate at adjustable speeds so the LED light patterns move around. You can even set it so the lights are triggered and synchronized by the music being played. It has DMX (digital multiplexing) control capability which means you can program it using lighting software through a computer. What I don't like about it are two things: 1: If you lose the remote control, you lose the ability to slow down, or speed up the rotation of the lenses. As far as I can tell, unless you have it connected to a DMX controller, the only way to take full advantage of its capabilities is by using the remote control. So, do not lose the remote! 2: The limited information manual doesn't explain what you are looking at when toggling through the menu abbreviation options in the back of the unit, so you have to just play around with it. I have NOT tested its DMX controller capabilities. A bit pricey, but works great!
