I've used it as-is quite a few times and it's been enjoyable.
It throws the laser about 50 yards up my driveway, so it has decent power to it.
I have not gotten into a lot of customization, however. I just hit the bottom left RGB button and let it go.
I don't know how creative you can get with it, so I can't comment on it.
It's a cool light to have in your arsenal, if you're into that sort of thing.
This laser light would also be fun for parties and events. I would like to get a few more in the future. At the time of this review, the price is $89, which is a little on the high side for what it does.
The light itself take some time getting used to as there are a lot of controls that don't make much sense until you get familiar with the unit. But they can turn a pretty mediocre set into something worth remembering.
It is a well made unit and will likely last for many years under normal usage. I really like the effects and variety of displayed lights. They are bright and well defined. Movement is smooth. I find the motor to be very quite compared to some other stage lights I have. Overall, at the current cost of $89.00, I feel it is a bit on the pricey side compared to similar party lights I have that actaully do the same or even more. While I can recommend it, I would wait for a sale or price drop.

You can pick just one of the three different color lasers or all three.

It's got several different patterns all with bright and vividness that you can easily change with the remote control they comes along with it.
You have the option of strobe/flash as well as the option for speeding up or slowing down the light display as it spins around the room or area that you're using it in.
You also get the options of sound activation meaning it will move to the sound or beat of whatever it is you're playing, even just by clapping Your hands could activate the the lights as well.
It comes with a mount so if you want to hang it that's not going to be a problem it's lightweight enough to where it's not going to be a concern of it falling as long as it's mounted properly..
Overall this is a really fun light display RGB light display that offers many different patterns strobe/ Flash, speed control and sound activation it performs brilliantly and in my opinion I think it's a set at a very good price of where it's at because you get a whole lot out of this this small system that's delivering a big punch of vivid colorful Lighting Display patterns. I would definitely recommend it
