   I'm a nut for lasers and jumped at the chance to pick one of these up. Essentially, it is exactly what I expected it to be, a fun little DMX-controllable TTL laser with basic scanning galvos capable of doing rudimentary shapes and patterns. I would guess the galvos are in the 10-15 pps range, which isn't unusual for a product in this range. Typically, I keep the laser in one of the auto modes most of the time since I don't bust out a DMX mixer very often. I do wish there was a power switch built-in, I currently just unplug the power cable when not in use. Haven't had any issues other than getting stuck briefly after being running for a prolonged period of time. A quick re-powering on sorted everything out and hasn't reappeared. Overall, very happy to have this laser in my toybox and have enjoyed the energy it brings to my creative space.

   While the name is pretty generic, the DJ Laser Light carries a good amount of display power for a fairly small package. The RGB Laser light can cover a fairly large distance so works fine for community theatre as much as it would for a DJ show in a smaller venue. When you have it hooked up to a DMX board you have a lot of control from scaling and location of the laser patterns as well as control over the actual patterns and the colors displayed. Takes very little effort to get it into random demo modes of sound-activated control. The video I've included shows all the different patterns and colors available (although not all color patterns can add even more to the total effects). I was doing my control with a Wifi to DMX adapter and Luminair 4 on an iPad and projecting onto a door from a few feet away. The included manual covers most of the details for getting it working with a DMX board or an Art-Net system to control the device but there's a lot of fine control involved especially with the pattern and color selection. The projection scale, rotation, positioning and animation also have some great detail control. The sort of generic nature of this means I couldn't find an existing profile file (official or otherwise) online to load into Luminair but as mentioned, the manual had all the information needed to program it myself. The only other downside I saw was a random sequence of patterns, you'd think 1, 2, and 3 shape patterns would be sequential to one another, and while they are in the demo patterns, in the manual control mode they're scattered about so if you plan for a show, you'll need to map out patterns. Not worth removing a star considering the rest of the impressive features this offers for $100 (or less with a $30 coupon available as I write this). If you're a professional theatre you have the money for more professional equipment, but this really does pack a lot of punch for small businesses, community theatre groups, or hobbyists on more limited budgets

   Really nice laser with bright rich colors. Very large viewing area. Sound mode is great, but even on maximum sensitivity the music must be fairly loud. The pictures/animations have the quality of a late 1980s planetarium laser show. I wish you could select certain patterns without having to use DMX controller. You must use fog to get the most out of scan lines and beams. My main issue is with the mounting bracket and the ears that connect them to the unit. They bracket doesn't allow enough clearance for the power cord when aiming unit down from ceiling. Also, no option for floor mounting and aiming upwards. On of the connecting ears' weld broke on the insider of unit. It still holds fine, but wobbles. Minor flaws aside, this is a good unit for the price, and a welcome addition to any small venue light show.

   This thing is really cool, and it projects really well, even at great distance (when it's a lot bigger). What I'm bummed about is the lack of control that I thought I'd have. To be clear, if you have a DMX controller, you can control a lot. I've attached a picture from the manual that shows all the channels and controls.
   However, without a controller (another $50+ purchase depending on the quality), your ability to control it via the buttons on the back are very limited. Without a DMX controller, it's either auto, when it moves through all the different designs or sound activated, when it moves through the different designs in time with your music. I guess I was thinking I'd be able to manually select a particular design/pattern (either static or audio response) with the buttons on the back and have it stay there, but you can't. At least it's not covered in the manual, and I can't find anywhere online that suggests otherwise. There's a QR code on the back of the manual linking to a video, but when going to it, YouTube says the account has been terminated due to multiple or several violations. In summary, for someone with a DMX controller, this is a great little box. For someone without a separate controller, you've got auto and auto sound. The hardware is great, the controlling is less so without additional equipment.

   This is a really bright and cool looking laser. I shined mine on a screen that I use to watch movies on and it is big enough from about 25 feet away to cover a 35 foot area including floor and some of the ceiling.
   
   I had to turn the sensitivity on the music up to 9 (I assume that is the highest) to get it to where I want it to look like.
   
   It has an automatic mode, a DMX controller channel mode, and a sound activated mode. Each of them except the DMX has 4 different scenes in them as well. The DMX has the standard several hundred channels.
   
   What I do not like about this is there are really no instructions to even talk about and this is a pretty complex device. I assume they think you really know what you are getting when you get one of these.
   
   You can tailor some of the sub-scenes and set it just like you want it but I do not know how to do that. It works great just on the sound detection setting. I really wish there was a link or somewhere to go to know how to really get into the configuration of this, but I am happy with the way that it looks and crispness of the lasers.
   
   The colors are vibrant and it is just a really well put together laser show that is just fun to watch. I took the music off the video so no one could get me for copyright violation but it is really neat and has a lot more changes than the 20 seconds that I show. I really could not capture the entire scene either with the camera because it is so big.
   
   The main 'screen' area which it goes outside of is a 16 foot by 16 foot area but you cannot tell that from the video.
   
   Overall, this is a great looking laser show and I am glad I ordered it.

   R G B lasers! Much more than I was expecting!

   I think I was expecting more along the lines of red and green lasers with multiple patterns all over the place. This is not one of those cheap effects. This has multiple colors multiple animations and is capable of being sound activated and DMX controlled. This is capable of using DMX to control it simple talking through the different types of shows or the more tensional granular. I haven’t had the opportunity to try it will check it out and report back.
   
   This unit came in on a misty rainy evening so when is there a better time do use it? Right now.
   This thing was great looks fantastic extremely bright red illuminate the whole front yard the house the neighbors house the neighbors trees across the street. It entertained everyone from the cat to the 11-year-old who wanted to hold the laser light in his hand.
   For a small laser affect that be great for any DJ, kids or adult party and actually has a countdown timer 321 Christmas tree which was pretty amusing.
   
   I will add to it as we get it more opportunity to play with it in different settings
